The launch expands Stake’s regulated Latin American presence ahead of the 2026 World Cup

Stake has launched in Argentina’s Buenos Aires Province, extending its regulated presence across Latin America.

The new platform is available through a local licence granted by the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC).

The launch is restricted to Buenos Aires Province and does not mean Stake is available for real-money betting throughout Argentina.

Diana Otalora, Stake’s LatAm General Manager, said Argentina was an important market for the operator and a “natural next step” in its expansion across Latin America.

The Buenos Aires launch follows Stake’s move into Mexico in May 2026 and comes as the operator continues to expand its locally regulated business in the region.

Buenos Aires Province is Argentina’s largest province by population, accounting for close to 40% of the country’s residents.
