1xBet has signed a new sponsorship agreement with Barbados Tridents
The betting brand will feature on the team’s kit throughout CPL 2026
Barbados are two-time CPL champions after winning in 2014 and 2019

Online betting brand 1xBet has become a new sponsor of Barbados Tridents or the 2026 Caribbean Premier League season.

The agreement gives 1xBet a prominent presence around the two-time CPL champions, with the betting company’s branding appearing on the Tridents’ playing kit and on advertising boards at matches.

1xBet will also feature across the team’s social media channels and other promotional activities during the partnership.

The deal strengthens 1xBet’s involvement in cricket as the Barbados Tridents compete in the 2026 Caribbean Premier League.

Barbados Tridents competed as Barbados Royals from 2021 to 2025 following its acquisition by Royals Sports Group, but returned to its original Tridents identity ahead of this year’s CPL.

Barbados were one of the founding franchises when the Caribbean Premier League launched in 2013 and have twice won the competition, lifting the trophy in 2014 and 2019.

Their 2026 squad includes a number of established international players as the Tridents target a third CPL title.

A Barbados Tridents representative said: “Our team have won the CPL twice, and last season we fell just short of the final. With the support of our new sponsor, 1xBet, we hope to improve on last year’s result and claim the title for a third time.”

The agreement adds another major cricket partnership to 1xBet’s global sports sponsorship portfolio.
