Tottenham vs Man United Preview

Tottenham will be seeking their first trophy in years but face a difficult task when they clash against Man United in the finals of the Europa League.

Form

Tottenham have had a dreadful season and enter into this fixture on the back of a poor run of form with five defeats in their last ten games in all competitions.

That includes a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa in their last league game.

The London club have been strong in Europe though with just two defeats in 14 Europa League games this season and have won six of their last eight Europa League matches.

Tottenham have had a productive attacking return in this competition with two or more goals scored in five of their last eight Europa League games while Over 2.5 goals have featured in eight of their 14 Europa League matches this season.

Man United have struggled in every department this season but remain unbeaten in 14 Europa League games this season.

They have lost four of their last seven games in all competitions including back to back league defeats against West Ham United and Chelsea.

Ruben Amorim's side have fared better in Europe though, winning six of their last eight Europa League matches.

Man United have been fragile in defence though, with just three clean sheets kept in 14 Europa League games this season while both teams have found the back of the net in 11 Europa League matches.

United have been more fluid in attack in Europa as they have scored 2+ goals in seven of their last eight league games.
