1xBet has announced the signing of Filipino MMA fighter Mark Striegl as its latest brand ambassador.

The 36-year-old, who has an MMA record of 18 wins and five losses, is the latest sports star based in the Philippines to team up with 1xBet.

Late last year, Filipino-American basketball star Chris Newsome joined as a global ambassador,  while prior to that, rising Filipino basketball star Kai Sotto was named as 1xBet's brand ambassador for Asia.

Striegl will represent 1xBet in various markets around the world through social media campaigns and live events. He will also provide exclusive digital content for the betting platform.

"I’m happy to become part of the 1xBet family," he said.

"Sport brings people together, and 1xBet embodies this spirit by giving fans a platform for their passions."

The announcement is the latest sign of 1xBet's plan to expand in Asia and other markets, with the brand enjoying success and increased exposure in numerous countries in recent months, including Brazil, India, Mexico and Nigeria, as well as in the Philippines and elsewhere.

1xBet won the Best Online Sportsbook 2024 award at the SiGMA East Europe Awards and was named Best Sportsbook Operator at the SiGMA Africa Awards.
